Every month I will be highlighting an on-line digital image collection. This month's featured collection is the New York Public Library's 'Digital Gallery'. The NYPL Digital Gallery is a searchable database of over 700,000 digital images available for free download.The collection includes illuminated manuscripts, vintage posters, rare prints, historical maps and more. Browsable headings include: arts & literature; cities & buildings; culture & society; and industry & technology, among others.
